I wonder if flashing MBR and EBR would help.

I'm looking into it. I don't want to steer you in the wrong direction. But if Matt said it is bricked it probably is. I would trust him over me.

any solution ?

Can't you flash boot.img and with the bootloader patched and then hold 3 hardware buttons and reboot normally or go into ap fastboot. i had a fastboot failure and i was bricked but i recovered it.

I have an XT912 with the same issue, that is bricked and can't be fastboot flashed preinstalled. Is there any solution for this ?

I can't do anything. It looks like you bricked it really well. It won't accept DROID RAZR XT912 files.

Here's the storyline for my phone and I'm looking for some assistance. I'm not a noob and am very familiar with the various utilities, but I believe I'm stuck. I'm due for an upgrade and wanted to get my CDMA rzr back to stock so I could trade in. Was on the JB leak....flashed many roms with no problems at all....yesterday I unrooted and did a factory reset and all was good. this morning I used your utility to return to ICS, got Any on his back and loading....but now it only goes to the red Moto logo and when it fades out the screen stays black. Tried the 3 finger salute several times but nada. When the phone restarts (with USB attached to PC) it brings up Moto splash screen but not internal/external file choices. Oh, and can't get into Fastboot mode. Any suggestions are welcome....please.

Well, my first comment would be it helps to read before using utilities that you shouldnt. Now that you didnt do that youre here. Rant off.

There is no going back to ICS once you take the JB OTA. Again, obviously you didnt read. Now what you need to do is find the thread for Matts Unbrick utility, use it and reapply the JB OTA. Once again, THERE IS NO GOING BACK TO ICS.

Unfortunately, we dont handle GSM well here on this forum. We are largely CDMA. Unfortunately we couldnt help pncanh in Vietnam.

Rant taken....you're right and it's my bad. I have successfully return to fastboot. I have Matt's Jellybean unbrick utility, but when I use it I get 'moto fastboot' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable command or batch file....

After using Unbrick, you need to reapply the JB OTA via Recovery and then wipe.

The device is XT912 and that's verizon cdma. I tried matts jb and ics utility. they don't work. It cant flash with rsd lite nor it can flash preinstalled partition with moto-fastboot. I'm hoping for solutions.

Well if thats the case Semseddin, the utilities should work. How about you provide more detail? What did you do to get into the state you're in? Are you really using a VZW xt912 CDMA phone? would that mean your in the military and trying to get it to work on the Foreign GSM?

Youre in the chatroom but not saying anything and thats where you will get the best help overall.

cmh, I really appreciate the help. I can't seem to locate the JB update in recovery. Is there a way to apply it from my PC files? Again, I appreciate your help and your time.

You need to unzip all of the utility files to a folder and run the utility from that folder. You can't run it right from the zip file.

For Unbrick you extract the utility on your PC and run it. To apply the OTA you need the file to be on your sdcard, then you boot into Recovery mode and apply from the sdcard.

I can really be a DA when in panic mode. Just ran the utility (the correct way) and loaded the JB update on my SD card through my wife's razr and put it back in mine. Found the file under recovery and am now installing through recovery. I'll post back in a few......
