Like a lot of unfortunate folks, I made the wrong errant click and have been upgraded to Jellybean. (Razr Maxx XT-912) Now my 4G signal is spotty at best. As that my phone is my only available internet source, out in the sticks, I am indeed in a pickle. So, my question is this: Is there or will there ever be a way to go back to Ice Cream Sandwich? I hope that there is or will be...

If anyone has any good ideas or options, no matter how crazy, I'd be thankful to hear them.

Not possible, not now, not ever. Sorry to be blunt but unfortunately that's the only answer I can give you. It just simply won't be possible.

BigDaddyHicks in correct No Turning Back...However, Most of the Dev's are also moving away from ICS so its Best to be on Jelly Bean with more Opportunites to Modify your device...

I too was on ICS and realized chosing the JB Update their was no going back...No regrets...

Have you checked your settings for Data Usage...Goto Settings...Chose More...Mobile Networks...Then Network Mode...You have 3 option settings...

Mine is currently set on Global...

Most on the forum may be set on LTE/CDMA...I cover a lots of Rual States so signaling/Radio output is important for Device connections...

Playing around with those settings for a while no promises but it might help your Radio Signals or Output...Who knows maybe their will be an Update...

Id recommend using Matts new JB utility with the fastboot files and start over....at least you can start with a clean JB flash....

You didn't lose it, you just have to do it a different way.

If you have UNLIMITED data, you'll need to use the SQLite hack, which will allow you to use the normal "Mobile Hotspot" from Verizon with no issues.

If you have a TIERED data plan, the hotspot is free to you anyways, so there's no need to hack it.
