I can't think of anything other than the obvious reboot.

This probably won't help much but the link is an explanation of what RIL is.

Yea i had her reboot and then charge it up to see how things go. She always has the phone that seems to have issues when we have the same phones lol.

You guys are both on stock 173? I get killer battery life. Razr MAXX and get about a day and a half to 2 days. But again, with the ICS radio the 4G murders my phone. I used better battery stats to monitor battery usage. I charged the phone fully, then didn't use it for about 4-5 hours. BBS didn't consistently pick up a certain app that was causing drainage. When I looked at my signal strength it was horrible. Around -135dBm compared to my current 173 at -75dBm. The phone just wouldn't "catch" and hang on to the signal. When it did, it stayed at like 1-2 bars.

So whats faster? 2 or 3 bars 4g or full bars 3g
4G. The bars just show how, for the lack of a better term, reliable the connection is.

I personally don't notice a huge difference between the two. To me I would say 4g is a little faster, not like its lighting fast or anything. My big test would be to watch a movie on Netflix in 3g than in 4g. But just browsing the web I don't notice much of a difference.

How do you tell what speed your getting? Like to run some tests on mine.
I use the speedtest.net app...not sure if there's a better one, but it works for me.

If you want to test your internet connection speed, download Speedtest.net from the Play Store.
If you mean a benchmark for your phone, download Antutu Benchamrk from the Play Store.
Both free.
