So if this is stable and issues have been fixed what's the big deal with not flashing back? Does anyone ever flash back to the original Android os just for the fun of it? Guess I'm not understanding what the fear is. Please help me to understand.
Basically, this prevents you from obtaining any future ota updates. This may not be so bad with the awesome devs here, but the other concern is the ability to return the device should something go wrong, to Verizon and not being huranged about having a rooted device, which of course voids the warranty.

the directions say be on.181 but the installer says .173 im about to rds to .173 can i stay there or do i need to go to .181 first with root then voodoo
You'll need to be on 181. You've probably heard but worth repeating that after you install the 84 leak, you won't be able to successfully fastboot to anything else for the time being nor get the official ics ota, when it comes.

is there anyway to upgrade to. 85?
You'll have to install manually from 181 stock. You can't upgrade from leak to leak.
But, if you've already installed the 84 leak, you're stuck with it.

I actually really like 84, I just wish I still had root for a few apps, I forgot to back up with voodoo from the last leak, guess I'll just have to wait...You'll have to install manually from 181 stock. You can't upgrade from leak to leak.
But, if you've already installed the 84 leak, you're stuck with it.

can you load it like the .75 leak with rom manager and es or do i do another way
If you install that leak there is no going back.
But yes that is how you install it.

Sorry if this has been answered, but I can't find it... If you upgrade to .85 will that allow you to roll back to .181? I realize .84 kind of screws people, but haven't heard if .85 does as well.
.85 does the same exact thing. The bootloader in the .84 and the .85 leak were updated. Currently neither one of them can be fastbooted back.

One other thought... I'm on GB now. I have no desire to go back to any other previous version of Android. Don't even know if that's possible. That doesn't seem to bother anyone... so why does this? Is it just because it's so new? I dunno... just things I wonder after I'm bored and read the entire internet.

Playing around with a leak to see what it is about is one thing. Stuck here permanently (Possibly) is a whole different goose.
