A lot of new features unveiled in this phone.
Do you think this phone has what it takes to compete and retake some of the market share?

Coming from an HD Maxx to a 2,300mAh battery would be a dealbreaker for me. I can see the quad-core processor and display decimating that battery. I'm surprised they didn't beef up the capacity, especially since it's an embedded battery.

Holy crapballs! I just read that the stupid Win8 Sense 5 home screen blinkfeed cannot be removed. Bad move HTC. Glad I jumped on the DNA.

It doesn't look like it's going to be on Verizon's network, judging by the specs, so leaves me out. Verizon and US cellular are the only networks that work this way (western Nc). Not willing to give up unlimited data to switch anyway.

I like that it has infrared. I had an iPaq with infrared back in the day and it was great. I was able to change the channel at a bar once to watch the game I wanted - but I'd really like to have harmony-like control from my phone. Still no VZW and the battery are a dealbreaker.
