Did you do a full wipe install? Also, did you accidentally throw your app data back in when you restored apps?

Didn't restore apps and did a full wipe. I flash all the time so me doing full wipes is about as customary as me remembering to breathe :)

Funny.

Is there some way to disable the boot sound? I fiddle so much wiht the phone that I boot all the time.

Doug M.

I think there is an option under rom control to disable boot animation. I haven't tried it though.

This doesn't disable the sound however (I though it would as well). It does however call you a "jerk" for doing it!

No worries... just double checking. All it takes is one slip of the finger or the brain and we have to work ourselves out of a pickle. lol

Yeah, I thought that was pretty damn funny. I'll rename the mp3.

Thanks for the tips.

Yea, the confusion comes from the fact there is no Issues list on the OP now.

For those having issues with Data, this worked from me, just type *#*#4636#*#* and go to phone information and wait for connection to occur...listed in other topic. Can someone please verify if they are unable to mute a call or not. I am trying to determine if it is just my phone or the ROM.

NOTE: You need to dial *#*#4636#*#* (or use Phone Info from the market) and toggle data mode between modes. For me toggling to GSM only till the screen flashes and then back to GSM/CDMA auto (prl) works perfect. It will show data for a sec then flash off and about 30 seconds it will pop up to full data.

This only disables the animation, not the sound.

Mounting through USB doesn't seem to be working under AB5, can anyone confirm this?

This does work, but every reboot is resetting the phone back to GSM. Doesn't appear to save settings.

That's meant to happen. It's a safety net so you won't have to use fastboot files if it loops.
