How soon until the "how do I get my phone back to stock JB?" thread pops up? lol

How can I sign up to be part of the program the next time? Not that it takes all that long from the time the testers get it until there is a leak or an official release, but I'm just curious about how they decide who to include.

Can any of the people who *didn't* get soak invites please *not* confirm (wink, wink, nudge, nudge) that the soak test includes a "real" JB kernel? And (since you can't release the actual build number), perhaps, what number we might need to add to some other "random" number that we might all be able to guess by looking at our phones, to arrive at the build number of the release you *didn't* get?

Also, is this update for those who installed the "oops" JB early release, or those that are still on the "hey - why didn't *I* get the update?" version?

what qualifies as "a "real" JB kernel?"

I think it has to be based on the 3.0.31 kernel build. The ICS kernel is 3.0.8 which we had for official ICS & have now, in a modified form, on the JB leak that was accidentally pushed in Dec.

Wait, you flashed Ubuntu to your Gnex and then flashed then iOS6?

I'm wondering if it will be different from the leaked JB from late December..

I'm thinking it's going to be Blur_Version.98.72.16.XT912.Verizon.en.US cdma_spyder_4.1.2

That's my question also. When I filled out the questionnaire it had me choose the leak build number and still allowed my to continue the process.

Probably because the actual update will be fastboot compatible. Not with ICS, but with the actual JB update.

They have to have a version that will update the leak. They accidentilly released it, so they should definaitley have a fix otherwise they would just be giving all the people on the accidentel releas a big fu. I think the actual official release would have been out sooner if they hadn't screwed up in the first place. Probably just gave them a lot of extra work to do before the actual relese.
