This ROM doesn't have the kernel that's why you have to mount. Cm has the kernel so it tries to boot a 4.1.2 ROM on the 4.2.2 kernel. And that just doesn't work lol

Cm10 has a custom kernel which doesn't work with stock based Rom I believe.

I was able to get it up and running. I used a fxz. I'm also getting the weird power menu bug with the misplaced text, also clock seems to crash every time on boot. Seems to be working fine though =]

If you backup your stock rom with twrp it also backs up your boot.img so when you come off cm10 or cm10.1 you can restore just the boot.img from you backup

It comes in handy to have a backup for a quick fix if your on the go or in a hurry

So if I wanted to install this for the first time, should I download the ROM and the patch and install them back to back, or is the ROM updated?
Thx!

You can try flashing the ROM and patch together just make sure you do the patch second... Although I don't recommend that. Just flash the ROM, boot up and set up then boot to recovery and flash the patch... Just don't like flashing things together unless it's a ROM and the gapps

Yea I tried flashing them together and the patch didn't take

So I had to go back into recovery and flash the patch and it worked that time

Where can I get just the kernel?

Hey guys I just took the patch and flashed it..... it seems that now when i hold the power button to pull up the options for off and reboot etc... it just automatically reboots if I want to turn the phone off i have to force off with the power and vol dwn button

also can someone tell me  or provide a link to a no $#!+ way of deleting the navi bar. I already have lmt and I found the thread on this site on how to do it but im not really trusting someone that only has 9 posts when it comes to changing my framework..... thanks in advance

hmm, one issue for me.  when flashing this via TWRP, the flashing seems to just hang up.  I have to perform a force-reboot, and then it boots up and appears to have installed - except that I get "clock as closed suddenly".

otherwise, it appears to install fine.  if no one else experienced this, then it must be a bad download and i'll try again.

two minor requests though:

- could the power menu mod include "reboot to recovery"

- the OP says that it includes a circle battery, but I only see the ninja star.  is there a way to change it to a circle, or is that the circle battery?

thanks again!
