I have ss3.12 how would I go about updating to the newest version?

Is 3.12 not the latest version?

3.12 is the newest version indeed... but if there was to be a new version all you have to do is uninstall recovery than uninstall app... than install the newer one and install recovery once again.. reboot

Now, if I had to do this, it would be from my stock ROM slot? I would assume that deleting SS would also delete my custom ROM, and I would have to reinstall ROM after re-flashing the newest version of SS? I tried to find a clear-cut answer on this but couldn't find any definite answer.

The last 2x I've updated SS, all I've done is to install the new apk over the old one just like any other app, then open the app & update recovery.
Works perfectly for me & I've never had an issue.
