anyone else having issues playing words/hanging/scramble with friends WHILE using a CM10 based rom?

for some reason, it works fine on stock (still keeping my safety net drawn taught)
and it works fine when connected to wifi, yet on big red's 4g it pretends there isnt a connection...
(and yes, the 4g works as I was able to d/l the app from the store..along with myriad other things (gotta keep it pg-13 in these latter hours..lol)

any ideas?

(pre-edit:) -all things done to no avail:
I've un/re-installed...both from the g.play and amazon's appstore
I've cleared cache/data
I've threatened to give my phone a bath (sadly this only works on the laptop)
I've initiated the game with wi-fi connected first, disconnected and thought it was a temporal issue
and lastly, I've waited for zynga to update, yet again...lol
