received razr hd this week, trying to root JB from scratch.
gone through Matt's utility 1.0 twice. both times all is good until i get to flashing the JB, after i get back to 0.7.2. i get this message when trying to apply from .zip on my sd card's root:

thought it was a checksum error. did evrything all ovr again, downloaded new files... same results.
suggestions?

Did you check the hash of the file you downloaded to ensure the Jelly Bean file downloaded correctly?

Try a factory data reset before applying the jb update.

Sounds like Safestrap is not Unloaded, also at the end of Matts utility did you select 1 to clear cache etc etc.. Like tmy said, factory reset, clear cache etc.
