Now i`m bricked. It shows the M logo but then the screen goes blackI would suggest using the Unbrick Utility, then flashing the JB leak from XMas Eve, root, protect root, then flash the Soak leak. I ran through this entire process yesterday, make sure your battery is 100%, it will take between 40-50% on a MAXX to go "end to end". Let me know if you need further assistance/instructions.

I don`t know what the hell happened but I can`t get into recovery. You ran the unbrick utility, right? Thats normal, after you run the utility in fastboot, the phone wont boot. You then have to access recovery and install the XMas eve leak file from external SD. That will get your phone to a bootable state. Then its just a matter of rooting and bringing you up to the soak build.

Thank you! Updating nowPress the power and volume down buttons, that will hard reset your phone. Once you see the screen flcker, hold down both volume buttons to access the recovery screen, then just select recovery as usual.

quick question. My brother has the same phone as me, he installed the new update, but did not use voodoo so he lost root. Does the root exploit for the christmas leak work on the newest build?
Yes it does. Need to make sure that Smartactions did not get updated
