hey, I don't know if this is the proper thread for this so I apologize in advance, but I don't have the swype like feature on my stock AOSP keyboard after this OTA. I had a totally stock never rooted replacement phone arrive yesterday and I did the OTA. But I noticed the keyboard didnt swype and I still have a lot of verzon bloat on the phone. I read on other sites that this update was supposed to eliminate all the bloat and give us swype feature. Am I the only one?
Hey bub, I'm not finished with you yet..... SKNIT!!

I looked at this changelog

. I don't see a swype feature and it only removes some not all the bloatware. Sidenote: Swiftkey 4 with flow typing has always done me well. ;)

I don't recall seeing the swype keyboard as a feature in this update. That keyboard is from 4.2 and there is a flashable zip or apk on this site somewhere.

Well when I commented that I was trying the official ota so it didn't tell me what was wrong, just that it failed. I tried manually flashing it and it gave an error when verifying with the build.prop

Sounds like you mustve made some change to your Build.prop...others have edited it and removed the changes they put in it...

Yeah that's kind of what I figured but I really can't remember changing anything...

I had issues too. Installation failed ...Error 7....Tried unrooting, factory reset, unfreezing apps.....I ended up having to use Matt's Utility 1.82 going back to 100% stock and then doing the OTA. It is currently installing and haven't had any errors yet!!

Same issues here. OTA failed 3 times already. I unfroze all the bloatware, and temp unrooted w/ Voodoo. But still fails. At this point I'm thinking of using Matt's Utility as you guys suggested... HOWEVER, how in the world do I get root back after I am finally able to install the OTA? I am a bit confused here. Anyone else go down this path already?

Got it, thanks! I ended up using Matt's Utility 1.82 to return to stock ICS, root, took the JB OTA, and then used Matt's XT912 to restore root. :)
