I have been doing some wifi troubleshooting here at work with my Droid Razr Maxx. The problem I am having is I can not run WPA2-PSK with AES encryption. If I change the cipher down to TKIP I can connect to the wireless access point with no trouble but no matter what I do if AES is on (wether standalone AES or mixed mode AES/TKIP) the phone doesn't connect.
At home my phone works on WPA2-PSK with AES and that is a Trendnet router. The access point we use here at work is a Sonicpoint. Is there some other setting that would affect the phone's wifi to not connect on AES?

what rom are you using?
I connect everyday to WPA2-PSK / AES everyday...also with WPA2 enterprise with AES and no trouble as well.
If you on stock, this might be a question for your IT dept.
by any chance does your password have your username in it, or begins with a number..sometime even if it begins with a capital letter can throw off some wifi networks (depending on brand and age)
My advice:
change password
change rom
find someone else at your work that has a razr and see what they are doing.

I am actually in the IT area haha. This is a small/medium company. I have just been messing with Wifi settings and found this out recently. The same thing is happening on a co-workers Droid 3 as well.
To answer your questions, I am stock rom just rooted at the moment. But I will try changing the password to not have a capitol letter first, as right now we do.
I'll change the password here in a bit and let you know what happens.
