I'm starting this thread to try and cut down on some of the clutter going on in Hashcodes CM 10.1 thread. I will try to update as much as possible. I will start with the link for the alternative gapps that seem to work for some. If anything needs to be added feel free to sound off here. I will try to update the OP as much as possible. If you have questions about AOKP I can help with that also.

Camera and gallery force closing?
If you are getting force closes on the gallery and camera try deleting the data from both apps reboot and wipe dalvik/cache and they should work. I had the same problem until I followed those steps and everything is perfect.

Flash work around thanks to Kc69
Flashlight app works. Cam flash workaround for now.

Why the alternative Gapps?

Edit: I mean, what problems exist that these are fixing? Or do they add features?

Some people were having trouble with the other gapps. So I found these. I also had trouble with the CM gapps these are here in case anyone needs an alternative.

I haven't found it yet but I do have the actual photosphere camera from the nexus 4 system dump I will try it. If it works I'll post it.

I thought photosphere can't work on a bionic because of the lack of gyroscope.

Currently clearing space on my phone to take the plunge. Charging spare battery. Please be on standby in case I come back later crying because it went poorly.

I am getting a 404 error saying that the file does not exist when I click on the link in the OP. The end of that sentence should be part of the link.

"Then it came after me, it got into my hand and it went bad, so I lopped it off at the wrist."

Also the 3/16 build is kexec with the jelly bean kernel. The nightly have been merged with the new kernel.

Good idea!

OK, I'm going to ask a stupid question. Please be gentle, I'm a newbie! Yesterday was my first ROM.

When there is an update do I just flash it over the top of what is there or do I uninstall what I have and then flash the new version? I've not really gone into the functions and played around yet.
