Just tried it and it seemed like it worked fine.
Are there any negatives to backing up a rom on one slot and then restoring on another?

You can't go big-to-small. Other than that, it's open season.

I had two slots the same size and simply copied the files over on the sd into the other rom slot folder. No backup and restore needed. I haven't had any issues for a week now. Anyone see a potential problem with that method?

Just did it last night and worked like a charm. Used SafeStrap 3.11.
