ok guys.. sometime ago, i was playing with TiBU.. freezing some bloatwares and accidentally deleted the app "AdminFeedNotifier.apk".

the phone still works fine so i didnt really do anything about it.
[i know.. i should have did a backup before tweaking but i didnt]

now, in the update process, it says OTA fail.

then i saw somewhere, ask me to download the update again, and choose to "install later", and copy the file from Cache Folder to sdcard-ext.. which i did.

when i tried to update, it says update fail, status 7. the reason is "/system/app/AdminFeedNotifier.apk", checksum starting with 031d.

i tried the following: restore to a backup someone provided me sometime ago from XDA when i was trying to root.. same error occur.

seems like there is no way to restore this AdminFeedNotifier.apk

i also tried to restore this file via TiBU but it just kept saying "restoring" forever..

i then tried to copy this AdminFeedNotifier.apk into the /system/app folder, along with the ODEX file, but still no work..

btw, i am 65.1.21.XT910.PSHAsiaRetail.en.03
i am trying to install the latest OTA update..

anyone can help?

Easiest thing is to just use RSD or flash a "totally stock" ROM.

or download the Razr Utility and restore from it.

Ok.. Solved the problem. used rsd with an Asian fast boot file.. Odd because after flashing in the Asian retail fast boot, my phone still shows pshasiaretail.

Anyhow, my phone manage to update ota to 2.3.6 after the fast boot.
