Hi, does anybody have any detailed instructions for overclocking the bionic, preferably on a jelly build...never got the boost with the .246. With new cm 10.1 and liquid smooth running close to perfect i'd like to be able to find a way to overclock. Tried a few other tutorials but they all failed.

I see no one has stepped-up, so I'll try to help. There are many threads on DR and other forums that will guide you in overclocking the stock ROM or a JB ROM that has the stock ICS kernel. In know because I also did not get the bump to 1.2 GHz but was successfully overclocking for months.

CM 10.1 now has a KEXEC kernel. The same methods and drivers for the old kernel will not work with this version. I know because I've tried just for the heck of it.

CM already has init.d support built in so the path to boot scripting is open to us, but I would guess you need specific kernel modules to run the scripts. My guess is that the kernel will be locked-down once we get the official release, then someone will work on overclocking. I'm just guessing, but this is the order things have happened in the past.

I'd definitely donate to the cause if someone is willing to work on overclocking, but I have to say that being able to use CM 10.1 is far better than being overclocked on ICS!

This will not work. The ROM must include the governors and CPU tweak settings or you cannot overclock.
