Is there any ROM out there that has all the performance tweaks without all the inverted/skinning/theming etc? I just want a stock looking phone with the performance tweaks.

Is there any ROM out there that has all the performance tweaks without all the inverted/skinning/theming etc? I just want a stock looking phone with the performance tweaks.

Try the Paragon Series Rom. It uses only the Motorola stock skin/theming. Runs well.

couldnt you use the stock deodexed and run the moto tweaks? thats what i did, but im curious if you meant something different

i feel bad i never realized you asked til now! theyve worked great for me, im running 4.1.2 deodexed, with the 24v tweaks, a flashable 4.2 keyboard i found, and the circle 1% battery modHas that worked well for you?

Sounds good. Question: what's the advantage of running a deodexed version, is that necessary? I think I read that odexed apps are more responsive.

as far as i know the only difference is that the first boot takes much longer on deodexed than odexed. but deodexed is necessary for the tweaks if im not mistaken.

I had thought "deodexed" meant the apps are just .apk's instead of having a .apk and a .odex file, but it sounds as if there's more to it. I'd like to know more about it.
