I'm still rooted but going to info section of app. touching tapcheck for updated I just get a fail message
any ideas all is still ok as far as Voodo, Titanium Backup and Su have root permissions
been working ok for a while this just started?
I do need to be rooted at time of doing this correct?

The best way to check if you're truely rooted is to get a hold of "Terminal Emulator" and run it. In the command line type su and hit enter. You should be prompted with a Superuser request and then the command line should change from a "$" to "#".
I would try to clear the data for your superuser app and see if you can update the binary after that.

Thanks much for the reply no it's funny it just happened all of a sudden was working well
I did delete the data , then tried to update, i'm on a Razr Maxx HD running 4.1.2 my su binary is v3.1.1 (17)
anyone else have my setup and could tell me what version are your binaries
everything says I'm rooted and Titanium Backup works
installed root checker says root is good

"Downloading manifest...fail."
Version 3.1.3 (46)
Su binary 1.15:SUPERSU (0)
I'm on 4.1.1.
Verified still have root.

"Downloading manifest...fail."...It must be an app error because I still have full root and all of my rooted apps still function.

I wonder if it's just something going on at SU dvgd131 your the same as me with 1 newer version binaries
yeah, you do need to be rooted to update the Su binary. You are rooted right? Make sure you don't update your phone or anything without current su binary, it's caused others problems in the past.
The best way to check if you're truely rooted is to get a hold of "Terminal Emulator" and run it. In the command line type su and hit enter. You should be prompted with a Superuser request and then the command line should change from a "$" to "#".
