I did a search and couldn't find this anywhere. Is there a place to get, or does anyone have a battery mod for stock .173? Basically a simple one with 1% increments that I can put on stock. I just got my Maxx yesterday and rooted it today, but want to go slow into new ROMS. I am coming from an Incredible 2 and from an Incredible before that. I am a little nervous since from reading these boards that it seems that bricking the Razr seems to be a little more common then on those handsets. On those phones I was a total crackflasher, so I am trying to not be an addict.

This has been discussed many times in custom ROM threads, but I'm unsure if it was ever it's own topic.
Either way, the answer is simple. No, it is not possible. Stock is an ODEXed file format, which is theoretically faster although impractical to do any real work with. In order to enable this sort of thing, the ROM needs to be deODEXed. Circle battery might work regardless as it does not rely on the meter you see normally.

Also, you said you were a crackflasher, but trying to slow down. You could always just flash the Eclipse ROM, one of the most stable ROM's that is out for the Razr, 1% battery increments.

There may not be a zip for it but if you deodex the stock rom it is possible (I've done it on my other Moto devices)You cannot change your stock battery icon to read 1% increments on stock, sorry. You can always download Minimalistic Text and use the Battery Bar on a widget and it'll display in 1% increments.
