Gary, you need to come to the mainland! Think of the advantages of the extended dating pool not limited to the topographic confines of a small chain of islands.

That's a test we did in the lab at work. We offer 1 Gig service to the home. I work for a Fiber To The Home company. We only have one customer that has went with the 1 Gig. He pulls pretty close to it, too. We get internet at a very reduced price, but they won't reduce the 1 Gig service to employees. It's 349 bucks a month. I just have the 20/20 at home for 10 bucks. 20 meg up and down for 10 bucks is nice. I ain't paying $350 for internet lol.

Its the HTC First. Its an HTC phone that comes with Facebook Home preloaded. So yeah, its basically a Facebook phone... :D

Yep. I have been reading about it lately. I do like the fact that it it unskinned. The first "vanilla android" HTC since the G2. Just wondering if that will increase the interest of this device.

Yeah between that and the new Moto phones and updates that keep on popping up with less and less Blur, I think thats what manufacturers (except samsung) are going for (i hope)

Not for me, but if they actually flesh it out this could be a great move for people that use FB a lot. If there was a Tapatalk/Twitter version I would consider that. This is if nothing else one of the more interesting uses anyone has come up with for a launcher, and it is a nice push to show what Android can do compared to Win8 or iOS for the basic user.

I think that's what Motorola is going for. I'm not so sure with HTC.

only facebok marginally myself anyway, so the ICS version of is more than good enough, dedicate a whole screen to that crap? screw FB. I fight tooth and nail to get overly intrusive crap off my phones, not about to give zuckerberg a free ride either.

LOL. If one of my friends tried to contact me through FB it might be 3 hours, it could just as easily be 3 months. They'd be a lot better if PMing me here
