So I booted to my stock slot in safe strap. Ran the unlock exploit. Uninstalled safestrap. Installed TWRP 2.5 and made a full phone backup via recovery. Reinstalled Safestrap and booted to Slot 1 :)

I kind of like the idea of having full control of my phone finally!

Me too! Finally. After having a brick for a week then stuck unrootable 4.1.2 now this. I do have to say stock wasn't really bad though.

Why even use safestrap when you have twrp?

This is also what I'm wondering...Actually what I'm wondering is why do I need an unlocked bootloader?? (I know, uber n00b question)

If I can flash everything I need through SS then why unlock, flash TWRP??

BTW, sorry if this is in the wrong thread, feel free to move if needed.

Without an unlocked bootloader, you cant flash a custom kernel. Which for example, CM usues. So now, we can flash anything really and development should be easier for this phone as well.
