Okay first question is the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD is supported by the new bootloader unlocking procedure correct? Also I was told by a salesman for Verizon Wireless that if I complained enough after my upgrade that I could get my unlimited data back for my phone. Do you guys think it's worth it to take the upgrade for the Droid Razr Maxx HD and try to get my unlimited data back or should I just buy a used one off of ebay? Also is Dan working on a root method for people that need to get root to unlock?

i HIGHLY doubt that you will get unlimited data back ever. buy it on ebay

I was told yesterday by a Verizon rep that after we upgrade we have 14 days to call them and tell them we want our unlimited data plan back and they would give it to you. This is not a joke. I talk to this guy for almost a hour.

It is called the UNLIMITED WORRY FREE EXCHANGE PERIOD. This is for loyal customers. Asked him several times if I or my wife who has unlimited data if we upgrade we can get our unlimited plans back and he said yes.

Get it in writing. Maybe the rep just wanted a sale. I would call 611 and ask if that term does really exist

but you probably have to cancel your upgrade and then pay full price for the phone. just part of their return policy i would assume

How I kept unlimited: When I upgraded to the Razr HD I bought it on amazon, along with my wife's, and she decided she wanted the other color at the last minute. So we switched phones once the packages arrived. Because of this they wouldn't activate automatically and I had to call to activate. It's been two months and I still have unlimited. Don't know if I just got lucky or if this will work again for somebody

As I said before I did get to keep the unlimited data. Bought S3 at Walmart for $39.98 and got 2g plan there just to finish process like I was told. Then as soon as I got home I called Verizon and they put the unlimited data package back on the line. Also they said when mine us upgraded in December I will be able to get unlimited back also.I'm not trolling this is the truth. I would recommend you to calk and speak with them prior to upgrading and go ahead and see what they say
