I can connect to the market and download anything thats free or that i purchased previously but when i try to purchase an app it says error occurred please try again. I updated the market to google play and it made no difference. I did a search and it seems that no one else is having this problem that I can see..any ideas?? thanks

Well you can try a factory reset
Or re-download the rom and flash again.

Or you can completely uninstall the market/play then tried to re install it.
(Just place the vending apk from eclipse on your sdcard)

With TiBu. I converted it to user app, wipe data/cache and uninstalled. Install Play, convert to system app, and it works.

Same problem here. I flash eclipse on droid razr maxx and i could download only the free apps from market. For the paid apps i receive ''error , please try again''. I've try to update market apk to google play apk without success. Finally i find a way to resolve this. Using ES File Manager i backup(if anything go wrong) then uninstall the market apk. Then i downloaded Google Play APK 3.5.16 from
