Dhacker just posted on twitter he got update on XT910 and was able to retain root via voodoo. Just don't know what phone that is. May be completely irrelevant to your position.

We need to just remain calm and patient. I am sure we will hear/get merged again with an explanation; just until that explanation can come, things needed to come to a halt for a bit. It might be due to Jayrod blowing up the DNA mutating machine!
It's obvious that someone unplugged the thread's CAT6 cable and it disappeared into the Ether..............

I'm wondering if the update is purposely flawed to f%$k Verizon into having to replace a $#!+load of devices. Example:
VZW - "Wow Moto, your update sure f%$ked the Bionic, now y'all have to replace them"
Moto - "Uhhhhh NO, you do, you guys approved the motherf%$ker!"
VZW - "SMFH! Uh Oh! We f%$ked up royally"
Moto - "Uhhh yeah, by the way, since all Bionics are affected by the flawed OS you all approved, you have to replace it with a current gen Moto device."

The RAZR soak confirm email didn't go out until 10:56 pm the night before the soak started back in March. So maybe it will happen tonight or tomorrow..

Wondering if this update is VZW attempt to get back at Moogle, knowing release 22 is not as good as 23. Most peeps will be disgusted and jump ship to another brand especially if they give an incentive.

Just to let everyone know...I had nothing to do with anything. I was at work and am just as confused as the rest of you. However, Lets try and keep everything to just this thread so we don't anger anyone and when/If Sarge decides to let us know what's up..we'll know.
