Post screen shots and which battery you're using please

Also post recent battery stats screen shots from when you were on ICS ceteris parabis

If you're getting high android os battery consumption ie greater than phone idle when phone is idle, do a FDR and format internal SD. This should clean up any lose ends hanging around from ICS

Before everyone goes crazy with posts and such, let the phone go through a couple of reboots and charge / discharge cycles.

Posting screen shots 5 minutes after updating is stupid, b/c the phone is still going to be doing a lot of background process for a while until everything is sorted out.

I haven't let mine run through a full cycle yet, I've charged here and there for the last couple days. However, I can honestly tell a difference so far. What would normally take it down to 50% seemed to only bring it to 70%. I'll let my extended battery run down tomorrow and post some screens.

The kexec 4.2.2 ROMs actually aren't too awful on battery if you turn data off and have tasker turn it on whenever you launch an app that uses data. I now lose only 1% battery if I forget to charge over night. Screen on time is still garbage (<4 hours) tho since data/WiFi is pretty much always on when screen is on.

In light of this discovery, I no longer give a hoot about this thread

battery has been amazing so far for me on stock JB OTA. i'm a light-med user through the weekdays and used to get about 15h battery life on standard battery. this week i been consistently making over 24 hours. pretty big improvement imo. of course YMMV.

I'm the exact opposite - I'm draining battery left and right -but I haven't given it time enough to stabilize yet, I suppose.

My battery life has been nothing short of refreshing. I've had the update installed since Monday. Bluetooth on/off all day when I hop in my car, streaming Pandora in the car and at home to a Bluetooth sound bar, turning wifi on/off, maybe 25 combined texts/emails, Lots of browsing, using Google maps for navigation to 2 places I hadn't been to before here in Austin, and constantly checking the nbc sportstalk app, twitter, and Tapatalk. As well as streaming Netflix for an hour or so. Not to mention I haven't frozen ANY apps, and have a bazillion things running in the background. I have been using advanced task killer but I'm not sure it helps any. And I am rooted. I'd say screw the new software functions, this battery life is what has given me a new phone :) (I DID replace my stock battery about 3 months ago so it's not the original. Regardless this is nothing short of awesome!

Also, I actually got another hour or so more than the screenshot shows but the trial screenshot app asked me to pay when I took the most recent pic and I declined so it's just a black pic and can't post it. I'd say almost 17 hours off a charger can hold me over til my next phone. GREAT job Motorola!

ICS and JB both have a native screenshot capability - press and hold power button and volume down for an instant screenshot - no third party app required, and no paid app required.

Where did you buy your battery from? I'm in the market for a new one because I really want battery life like that!

If I shut off Location Access, My battery life will be nearly 48 hours, E-mail, Text, Web Browsing, Phone calls, Live Wallpaper activated. If I turn off 4G I'll get 4 days. You still have text & phone with 4G off in case anyone forgot. :D

Location Access on & I get about 24-30 hours with medium-heavy usage.

This is with the Extended battery

P.S. You guys freaked me out for about 10 seconds with the screenshot thing. Hahahah

My standard is getting eaten alive! Can't seem to calibrate it, or it just sucks. Screens after a couple more cycles.

Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2

Hey, I just added an extra paragraph at the end of op which should fix your problem, unless your battery is just dead ;p

it seems to have been happening ever since tapatalk went offline and then came back. Maybe they removed a couple line breaks and forgot the closers?

You need to clear cache and data of the tapatalk app. That will fix it. :)
