Not sure. Have you tried using Matt's Utility yet? (1.51)

Ive tried flashing the 1.5 zip w/ bs. Couldn't insmod them. Init_module '..path..' failed (exec command error)
Don't know what that is.but I'm going to find the zip for adding init.d support and hope that works.

the old way of doing it (placing both .ko files in the module folder, then writing the script in script manager) allowed the phone to still run normal but no dice on it recognizing anything I did w/ regards to pushing the phone above 1.2 :(

Setcpu does not work? I have not tried it yet. But I have no need to over clock it. I would under clock if I needed more battery life but freezing the right apps in ice leak will give you great life.
To powerful to fall into my hands. Click......Rooted. ICS rommed!!!!! Muhahahahah!!!!

I'm not exactly trying to OC but I am trying to set hot plug governor and 600Mhz min freq using ROM toolbox but it won't set permanently, even with Set On Boot checked. Anyone know whats up? Would SetCPU or another program actually work?

RTB worked for me to set hotplug at boot when nothing else would. I didn't try any freq. settings though.

It won't work simply because the overclock module that you have to flash in order for this to work is built from Gingerbread, not ICS.

I used

and set the max to (1200Mhz and the min to 600Mhz and set the gov to Hotplug) and checked apply at boot works 100%. After you set that, download

and set your profiles to (Screen Off 600Mhz max 300Mhz min Hotplug 100%) , (In Call max 800Mhz min 300Mhz Hotplug 99%) , And (Screen On max 1200Mhz min 600Mhz Hotplug 98%) and you should be good to go.
