So now that we have the bootloader unlocked and TWRP capabilities, how can we add bootloader and recovery to the power menu without installing a custom rom? I know there are many widgets that can do this and I have one by p3droid, but this shouldn't need a widget/separate app.  I'd just like to have it in the power menu. Any suggestions or am I just being picky?

I know MHouse posted some mods for the power menu and battery icons in his DST ROM threads, but these mods require a deodexed ROM.  Even modding the battery icons and signal icons requires being deodexed (as far as I know).

Here's his thread:

I'd really like to keep my stock rom, just with a few tweaks. I'm past my crack flashing days.(droid x)

That's what Rage HD is. A tweaked fully stock build.

There are a few deodexed stock ROMs running around, but ones like Rage would be better because it would be slightly tweaked for better battery and performance.  It's stock themed too.  Just flash and you'll be done.  If want bone stock, use the DST ROM.  You will need to flash again if you want the power options, though.

The above recommendation would probably be your easiest option. But if you want to learn how to code it yourself, feel free to PM me :)
