Rollback

Best Answer medic , 22 April 2013 - 01:31 AM

Security built into the update prevents it from being rolled back. Luckily there is a .22 fxz out now that can be used with rsd.

I updated my Droid to the new Version 4.1.2 System ver. 98.72.22, is there anyway to get it back where it was? I tried to use RSD lite and I get fastboot failure every time I try. I want to go back to a phone that I can root.

As far as I know (even though I don't have a Bionic) I don't think it's possible.

You can't return to ICS after taking the JB update. But be patient....a root exploit might be coming.

Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk 2

Thank you for the link. I have downloaded Ubuntu and made a bootable cd. It runs fine, I just can't figure out how to open a terminal window. I have Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
