I did some searching when I was first advised to get a stock rom and couldnt find one. Is there a thread on here with a link? Will it be a zip installation that I can do in TWRP?

Thanks.

Got it flashed back to recovery and now trying to lock the GPS! Thanks for assistance!

I wish the stock rom flash answer were posted here for everyone. What did u get a pm?

Is the microphone bug resolved? I rely on google voice search and voxer quite a bit. (Sorry if this is answered somewhere, I didn't find it in my catch-up reading)

By "a few weeks" did you actually mean "one week"?

Sure. June 11th 2013 is when it was resolved.  Seems as if it has been a few weeks.  Either way the OP needs updated so its reflected properly so when people research the topic they get the info they need.

I know how mini-BOFH you like to get so just to clarify it was not a slap at the OP poster as more of it was a "heads up" so it could be updated.

Sorry for the delayed update but I have multiple devices now. OP is cleaned up and updated. I've moved residual issues to the top and bumped the resolved issues to the bottom but leaving them visible for reference. Also, if you deem that it's pressing to get it updated faster all Mods/Devs have the ability to modify this post. Ask one of them to do it if it's bothering you.

Thanks for updating it. As mentioned earlier it was a post bringing it to attention and not screaming at you to update it :)

My HD is my secondary phone at the moment since I refuse to use the lagfest that is stock. Once the last few bugs are ironed out with audio and USB i'll be back to it full time.

After trying out various 4.2.2 roms (including the 6/26 version of AOKP for the XT926) and using R9 and N34 kernels, I've noticed that after recording a video, the audio quality on playback is really poor.  I have the volume all the way up and can hardly hear a thing, even when my ear is pressed upon the speaker.

Is this related to the various audio issues that 4.2.2 roms is encountering?

Just wondering since I haven't heard mention of this, specifically.

Regarding Bluetooth Audio: It looks like it will work if wifi is turned off.

OK I just paired bluetooth with my pc with wifi off.  Then I turned wifi on and streamed audio for 5 minutes. Turned bluetooth off.  Leaving wifi on turned bluetooth back on.  Tried to stream audio, immediate phone reboot.

Latest PACMAN ROM with N8 kernel.

It looks like wifi needs to be off when you pair the device but once it's paired you can turn it on.

There is a fix now for low audio when video recording or audio recording on 4.2.2 roms.
Simply go to system/etc/media_profiles.xml

and do as described on the post:
