Have you tried Ginger Unroot yet? . I've used it in the past and it's well worth it. If it doesn't work, you've got 15 minutes to return it,

OK so gingerbread unroot doesn't work because I have ics right now. I want to unroot in case I have any issues and I have to take the phone in to Verizon. I opened the voodoo app and it says that an su is saved but the problem is when I click menu the only thing it says is refresh status. That's it. I've disaed superuser but it shows its installzed. I completely want to get rid of super user and of any sign of root
But you have a leak on your phone. SU doesn't really matter. Plus if you have issues after the leak, fix it yourself and don't go to Verizon for help.

So when the official ota update comes I won't have any issues right and it will just get rid of super user right. If my phone is rooted will I still get the update?
And lastly how do I get rid of super user if I want. And I won't take it into verizon.
Consider the leak a trial run. When and if the OTA comes, you'll have to fastboot back to. 173 to get back on the upgrade path (not going to happen with the leak).
My advice; keep root, have fun, worry about the OTA when it's available.
