Heading up the new haul road - the pink flag on the right edge is at finished grade elevation. The rest of the hill above will come down to that point and all the area along the creek will be filled up to it. From here we charged all the way up along the cut through the red dirt path back to the top and I was hanging on with both hands so took no more pics on that ride!

Eckchually, sweet wife of mine, it was more like 1:30 this afternoon (but who's keeping track, right?)  :D But, yes it was something to see! As I kinda hinted yesterday, I had the chance to be on top of the hill for today's shot and it was BIG...over 140 drilled holes!

Speaking of the tent - once the caterer removes it and since the new haul road is running, it probably won't be long before this road is classified as 'surplus to requirements'! Bet it won't take much for Austin Powder to open the whole rock wall pit into the Honda pit, and soon.
