oh im being patient. Just curious. I didnt want to flash a new rom and set it all up if this one was coming out soon. lol


Haha I got you! I am the same way unfortunately. Do you use TiBu to restore your apps? It makes it alot easier than trying to re-install everything  :D  I believe JP is planning on doing some dev work on this rom over the weekend but hasn't given specifics on a concrete date yet for when things will be up and running 


I've got mine down to like 30 mins. Install ROM and gapps. Load tibu. Restore apps. Xmls for texts calls WiFi etc. Resetup folders and widgets. Make a slot backup. Dun in under 30.

IcarusHD was the only one I ran long-term. I kept 1.5 (sorry 1.7 just wasn't for me). Also ran stripped 1.8.3 for a bit. Cm just isn't for me. Neither are most others. Running carbon now. It's not bad. Lots of options. Will likely dump it for flying jelly.

I'm on carbon right now as well. Can't wait to throw this on and see whats up! Though so far.. the carbon i think is more stable and smooth then anything else so far, that includes CM, Liquid, Pacman and Blurry.

 

I think this one will beat carbon though based on the experience i had with IcarusHD1.5 and 1.5 stripped

I am hoping you complete Triton and come out with. it. it was the one I always went back to after trying others.

FJ build 17, is very nice so far. It feels quicker than build 15. Thanks for putting back all of the stock theme elements and keeping acid. I'll check in through email with further testing info and battery performance.

FJ build 17, is very nice so far. It feels quicker than build 15. Thanks for putting back all of the stock theme elements and keeping acid. I'll check in through email with further testing info and battery performance.

Don't get too settled in, build 18 is probably coming soon and its gonna require a data wipe. ;) Might finally have all the Google Apps playing nicely...maybe

Alright build 18 shipping out to testers now. Its not going to be long now. If testers give us some good fast feedback, you might have FlyingJelly in your hands by the end of the night. HERE WE GO! :D

My gapps are still borked. I did not do a factory reset though. I'll try that now and report.

After reset, most gapps issues fixed. Talkback and Play Music still have signing errors preventing updates.

well wait for build 18..do a full wipe..if your still having problems we'll fiqure it out...do all the backups as course...just dont restore data

On 18 did everything from factory reset and manual app installs and updates.

I haven't had any other issues accept those in my prior posts.
