I am very surprised there aren't a bunch of roms based off the JB release. I remember back in the day when there was a leak, the next day there were a couple new roms. Did people jump ship and move to the Crapple iPhone? Just asking.... We all greatly appreciate the dev's time and effort.

We used to get leaks far ahead of the release, unlike with JB. Give the devs some time. In the meantime there are AOSP based rooms that are running well and even on 4.2.2.
Just having fun with Android!

You have to return to stock and update to JB stock, then root, safestrap and load a rom. As this thread says though I am not sure if any JB roms are currently out.

Kexec kernel CM10.1-based ROMs will work on the jb OTA from what I hear - e.g. CM10.1, AOKP, LiquidSmooth (my personal fave and current DD) - I'm not on the OTA yet but others are and have said they work.

I've gone through OTA and I'm using Liquid. It's rock solid.
