Hey guys, I've been lurking this site for a while, but this is my first time posting, so hopefully I'm in the correct forum.

I have an XT926, rooted, unlocked BL, with TWRP recovery. I haven't flashed any ROM's, so aside from root and BL, I'm stock. Starting yesterday, my wifi antenna refuses to stay turned on. As soon as I enable wifi, it immediately turns back off (or it will sit there and switch back and forth, inevitably ending in the off position).

I've tried googling the issue, but couldn't really find anything helpful. I've also tried factory resetting and reverting to a previous backup that worked, but neither of those things corrected my issue.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Stick

Try this. I had the same exact issue and this was recommended to me.

Right on. Did that resolve your issue? Also, does having an unlocked bootloader affect the usage of fxz files at all?

Yes it fixed my broken WiFi issue. However, I can not answer your bootloader question. My guess is no but I would do some more research on it before attempting this.

make sure you flash the stock rom, stock recovery and the stock boot logo before you send it back.. I'm in the clear, i don't think they discovered the unlocked boot loader, i got a text from verizon saying thanks for sending the defective device back , blah blah. haven't heard anything else
