So im coming up on an upgrade from my OG Razr in about a month and i was wondering what phones are worth looking at or whats coming out soon that i might want to wait for? I already know the SG4 is on my list of possibles but i dont like the build quality very much. Any new motorola flagships coming out? Any ideas?

I wouldn't count on any Moto devices real soon. They do have some coming, but from all the scuttle out there it looks like the "next best" moto has been delayed. Many here have been switching to the Razr HD or HD Maxx - partly for the current ability to unlock the bootloader.

i feel like the HD is old tech though, what with the GS4 and all its new processors and camera and stuff =\

It may be dated, but for now, that's what you got from Moto .

It might be dated, but it's still fast, still well built, and still has some of the best radios on the market. ;)  Oh, did I mention you can unlock the bootloader. :)

If I were you, I wouldn't buy the Razr HD. It's old tech compared to today's flagships, even though it's still lightning fast. I'd wait for the X phone, even if that means waiting several months before it's released.

The X phone, or what we know of it, looks super sexy. I can't wait.

If I where you I wouldn't be looking for the next greatest phone. I'd be looking for one that suits my needs, has plenty of ROM options and can easily be taken to a prepaid plan through straight talk or other similar options, contracts are evil and over priced, particularly with the new family share plans they will FORCE you over to when you get a new phone at contract price.
