"The application My Accounts (process com.motorola.setup) has stopped unexpectedly."
I imagine this may have something to do with having put root on the phone before all of this? Weird thing is, I can pull down the notification bar and open say, gmail, but I can't get to the launcher....gonna try pushing root again...

I was working with a completely fresh install, so i didn't really care if I messed something up.
Also, backups are for pussies.
(but not really...am I allowed to curse here? I guess I should've read the board rules, or at least assumed I couldn't if I wasn't going to bother...I'm telling ya, this not sleeping thing does crazy stuff to ya brainz).

I'm not entirely sure what "sideloading" is...but I imagine that requires having a bootstrap installed? Since there's no way I'd be able to get into the market....
So basically, if I download ADW before running this, I'll probably be fine?

Side loading a app is installing a third party app aka unknown sources, that should be checked. Then get a launcher and just load it with package installer from root explorer etc etc.

Then you "adb push launcher.apk /mnt/sdcard/launcher.apk"
Next youll want to "adb shell" followed by "su"
Once you see the # you should be on root in adb shell.
Then you'll type the command "mv /mnt/sdcard/launcher.apk /system/app/launcher.apk"
