Ive had the XT907 Razr M VZW for about 6 months now. ICS came installed and JB officially came out a couple weeks after my purchuse. I have bricked and RSD this phone so many times Ive lost count. First three months of owning this phone I wanted to throw it off the tallest bridge I could find. Now with my phone unlocked and running SafeStrap v3.11 I am able to run Stock VZW 4.1.2 on my stock ROM with Energy ROM 3.14.13 build with VZW 4.1.1 running on my ROM Slot 2. Also im able to have the 4.1.1 camera work on Slot 2 while having the 4.1.2 camera in Stock ROM slot. Once I had both ROMs stable on SafeStrap I went ahead and flashed PacMan 4.2.2 over my Stock slot which was where I had the VZW 4.1.2 stock update running. Being able to now run two kernals through one recovery is bliss. Energy ROM to be is the best 4.1.1 rom out there hands down. Smooth flowing , heavy AOKP based rom that truely fixed my Wifi connection or lack of connection issues. And now I get to run PacMan 4.2.2 which is just straight gangster of a ROM. CM10.1 based ROM that takes the best of numerous ROM builds and apps, throw in crazy amount of customization, and you get pretty much Christmas morning joy of endless options. Long story short, finally got my Razr M to be the beast that I knew it always could be.

You could do all this before you were unlocked and I'm not sure how pacman is stable for you where it can't flash the kernel with ss

what boot image are you running to have both energy and pacman running at the same time, i tried this with SS and go into boot loop with the pacman rom.

xt907 unlocked bootloader with twrp 2.4 (testing 2.5 tonight) and energy with 4.1.1 boot.img

Guys... These 2 roms are 2 different kernels. If you try to load the rom with the wrong kernel... well you saw what happens. I am doubtful of the info in the OP to say the least. I would not try to replicate it unless the OPer comes back with more info.

I agree.  I was trying to picture how this would work and I couldn't see it.  The OP posted this in several places and never came back after the original post.

I'm thinking you need to unlock your bootloader so you can install CWM. We did not start seeing AOSP roms until the unlock. Again I don't know about the OPers info but I can't see how that will work.

i have an unlocked bootloader and twrp installed, not sure the difference with CWM but PacMan rom does not work. if and when i get it to boot, it usually stays on the boot animation or a black screen. i have the 4.1.1 kernel installed for Energy Rom which i am currently running.

what steps are you taking to install PAC?

here's what I did/recommend:

1. mount everything then backup your current ROM via TWRP to your external storage (takes about 20 minutes)

2. mount everything then wipe cache/dalvik/factory reset/system/internal storage

3. reboot recovery

4. mount everything then install PAC

5. mount everything then install GApps

6. reboot system

Device: Motorola Droid Razr M (XT907)

ROM: OSE KitKat 4.4.2

Sort of off topic but wondering. When you wipe everything what happens? I just installed twrp 2.3.2.3 and its a little scary taking that step.

When you wipe everything.... well all you rom/os info is gone. You need to be very sure you have a Rom ready to load if you do this. Also note this info includes a lot of extra steps not normally done because he was trying to get this specific AOSP rom running. Be especially careful about wiping your internal SD card.
