Hi all - I recently purchased a used Droid RAZR MAXX HD which came installed with CWM and the ROM Eclipse. The first thing I did was wipe the phone and install the latest version of Eclipse. Just for kicks, I ran the AnTuTu Benchmark utility which gave me a score of 9600. From a RAZR MAXX perspective, that seemed pretty good and definitelty better than my old HTC Rezound.
Then I came across the Droid RAZR HD Utility 1.2 and thought I would try flashing TWRP. The switch from CWM went without a hitch. Again, just for kicks, I ran the Benchmark again which gave me a score in the low 7000's. I theen went back and wiped the device and re-loaded Eclipse.....still got a score in the low 7000's.
Went back to CWM and got a score in the high 9500's
I dont really care if AnTuTu is a "good" or "bad" benchmark utility, but it blows my mind that TWRP v CWM would have an impact on performance scores. Is this even possible or simply a coincidence?
