Hey,
Has anyone else experienced this issue once upgrading to 2.3.6? I used OTA to hold root before upgrade from .173 to .181, upgraded and now I'm stuck in 3G. Any suggestions, fixes or similar issues out there?

Do you still have your LTE radio?

Hi guys,
Thanks for the responses, I'm not sure if I have my LTE radio, not sure how to check it. And before I got a chance to try anything else, data connectivity is gone completely now. I'm apprehensive to do a factory reset unless completely necessary. Another person in the building has lost data as well, so I'm leaning more and more towards a Verizon outage. Keep advice coming though and I'll keep you updated on my end. Thanks again

One thing to try is go into network settings and switch back to cdma to cdma/lte back and forth. Or reboot...or airplane on and off. Sounds to me if your friend is experiencing the same its just a bump in the tower or outage... Be patient and it should come back soon. If not call provider to see how long?

Thanks Droid2drummer,
I've tried all of the standard troubleshooting techniques for data connectivity lost (the ones you listed) before posting, but I'll keep trying them. The coworker previously mentioned is experiencing the issue on a Nexus which brings me back to my assumption (thus far) that its an outage or hickup in the network somwhere. I'll call after work and see whats up if it hasn't been resolved and post it here

You have to Factory Reset. I had the same issue and it's a simple fix

My Droid Razr has completely lost data and from time to time loses service all together. It started doing this about 30 minutes ago after I got to school. Had a problem like this before so I just turned the phone off and back on. Fixed the problem then but didn't do the trick this time. I would really prefer not to do a reset at all since I have so much in my phone and have it set up the way I like. Any other suggestions? I'll be going to the Verizon store one day this week if I can't get it working right.

If you haven't tinkered much, I would think either the radio or the sim card could be failing.

Do not do this...it is not a fix...its just a frustrating run around to realize you still only have 3G

Have you downloaded the Motorola app for 4G fixes?

I beg to differ. It worked for me and a few other people. This issue is highlighted in another thread and it worked perfectly

What I did to fix my issue was:
Fastboot all the way back to .748 then take the otas up to. 181

Since these rewrite your lte radios.

Hope this helps.
