Anyone had difficulty with the onboard voice recognition software (NOT Google Voice) on the Bionic since the latest OS update?  I notice it had very poor recognition and then it just simply died.

Now it says "Voice Command has stopped working".

FDR - no joy.

A minor irritation, but it was useful while driving.

Thanks,

RMD

You're on stock and having problems?!?

That seems super weird!

I'm from the internet and so can you!

Uninstall the Google Music update and then voice commands will begin working immediately.  I had this issue when I updated Google Music after Google I/O released the update. Trust me - I thought it would've been the Google Search update but after removing all updates one by one, that was the one that fixed it.

There's an update in the play store for voice search that will correct the problem. Just dropped yesterday.

Yes, got it today.  Thanks.  In the interim period I follwed the above suggestion and dumped the Google Music updates and it came back fine.

Thanks all for the help.
