please mates i need your help I am a noob.

first let me start from telling you guys the history of me and my phone.

I got my phone with a stock ice cream sandwich. using the phone i noticed that the battery doesn't last long. the battery drains so fast the i need to charge a minimum of two times daily for the phone to stay on. later i did an OTA update to jellybean 4.1.2. no significant improve in battery lifespan. battery can drain up in less 4-6 hrs of listening to music using normal earphone. i tried switching off 3G, reducing screen brightness to 30%. removing live wallpapers and battery never exceeds 5-6hrs. 3G browsing kills my battery within 3hrs, 2hrs + most times. All these after fully charged. When the battery is 100% charged and unplugged used for 5mins i can see it drop to 80% right in front of my eyes. it tries to seat at 80% for a little longer like 20mins or more of usage. then 60% or so. One day i tried to install chainfire3D i got my phone bricked, never knew it wasn't supported by jellybean so i flashed it with a stock jellybean rom 98.72.16.XT912.verizon.en.us spyder or so with wsdlite flashing program. my phone is working now. but the battery is still the same. i've tried to get information on how to go back to ics but i read that it is not possible but can result to bricking my device. Please brothers can anyone suggest to me what to do so i can enjoy a little battery life like others. I'm on Jelly bean please i need a stable rom that can keep my battery longer . can someone suggest the best jellybean rom for my device. i will appreciate it so much. i have no option than to seek your opinion mates. I need the best rom possible. give me suggestions and i can compare by my self. focus: battery life, smoothness, less bugs, good camera, and you know better.

And look at all the ROMs we have..... for the most part the "best" ROM is 90% personal opinion....I personally like aviator........ But My battery life blows as well, it don't matter what ROM I am on .......

Rage is tweaked debloated stock blur. It will be one of the most solid roms. Everyone has different tastes but if you want everything working that's a good way to go.

You should get good battery from rage.

I see you have an HD. Moved to Razr HD general.

thank you brothers. MY razr is OG Razr . that is droid Razr XT912 of the year 2011 from verizon. But i dont use it on verizon I use it on a GSM network in Africa. and it is working fine with the network. I now Prefer stock roms. I flashed the aviator rom. it is kinda good, the battery life is better than the stock i had. but it removed all the stock feeling. the 3rd perty launcher as default, the boot protocols. it dosent feel like my phone anymore. the safestrap stuffs and all that. I wish there is a good stock jellybean rom. flashable with RSD lite or similar. Wifi and hotspot unlocked.

May I suggest changing your current devices in your profile to remove the HD part to prevent future confusion.

I still think Rage is your best bet for what you are looking for... RSD lite is only for full fastboot of FXZ files and not for Roms. Roms are Safestrap only for the OG Razr due to it's locked bootloader
