Retrieve Pictures?

P.S. I filed for insurance claim, paid my $99, and will have a new Razr on Monday, so hopefully there is a way by the weekend.

Pictures by default go onto the microSD card. If you don't have a microSD reader put your old SD into the new Razr. All the pictures will be thereI broke my Razr tonight - the screen is cracked and doesn't light, let alone allow for touch input. I can hear messages still coming in. The photos were all saved on the phone - is there any way I can get them without use of the touch screen? Nothing life or death, but I would kinda like to have them. Thanks.

Please do not Personal Message me for help or troubleshooting. They will be ignored. Post in threads or start one in Q&A sections.

How's the touch input?
Get a cheap HDMI cable, and try hooking it to your TV

Sorry, I should have been more clear - the photos are on the internal storage. I pulled the SD card - its empty

Touch input is completely gone - even an HDMI cable wouldn't help. I don't have access to (or funds for) a lapdock, but at this point that is one of the two things that could maybe work.
My other idea is to try ADB and see if I can pull the files with that - but I really don't know much about it, and I don't know that I had the phone in debugging mode anyway.

If you live in Michigan I could let you use my lapdock... we drive all over the state for work and I could meet you somewhere with the lapdock... maybe go into a vzw store and ask nicely to use their lapdock display model to copy your images to your external SD... hell even if they only have a lapdock 100 display unit it'll work... just an idea...

Thanks for the offer - I am in Washington though. I called the local store and they don't have a dock out - and I don't have the time to drive 70 miles to any of the stores that might have one. I will look at the ADB route later tonight or tomorrow - otherwise I guess no pictures for me.
As to the cloud syncing option - I could go that route, but I really don't like that. I hate social media and if my files were on the SD card like I had expected this wouldn't have been a problem. I also know better than to risk it with things that are life or death, so while I want the pictures back - there isn't anything on there that I can't live without.

Bizzare - I just hooked the phone up to my laptop to try adb, and the phone showed up as a drive - it wouldn't show up when connected to my desktop. I don't know what the difference was, but the pictures are secure. Thanks to everyone for taking time to try to help me, I appreciate it.
Good deal! You got lucky! Glad to hear you got your pics back, and now yourself, and hopefully others reading this thread now know to check their save settings in their camera app for correct location... I just want to throw this out there, but in your browser, you can also select which SD to save downloads to as well... I believe the default is internal SD... moral of the story: check the settings menu on every app you use :-) you just might have to tweak them!

I have a question that you guys have touched on here. In my settings, the two choices are SD Card and Internal. I just want to verify if SD Card is external SD Card labeled SD Card-ext or whatever and Internal is the internal memory labeled SD card and not the small memory set aside for apps. Am I right?
Sdcard-ext = small memory card
Sdcard = internal memory

I understand that, but does that hold true for the choices in the camera settings? If so, that would mean I do not have the option to save to my external SD card, I can only save to the internal memory labeled "SD card" or the ~3 gb of internal memory for application storage.
