Gotta call customer service and politely try to get a MAXX replacement.

Please do not Personal Message me for help or troubleshooting. They will be ignored. Post in threads or start one in Q&A sections.

Ideally... but I just can't do it. Not since I rooted and installed a leaked OS. Just doesn't feel right. And now that we're on 84, we can't fool them anyway. As soon as they get ready to reflash the phone they would get errors and know we've tampered.

Customer service would say you are having these problems because you modified the phone... Even if it was like that stock.. Not sure what I would do in this case.

I did try speaking to customer service. February 26th. I bouth the phone January 28th. They said they couldnt even after speaking to a manager. I did file an FCC complaint against Verizon and Motorola so maybe i should give them a call with my case number and just settle. I was more than willing to pay difference since its my fault for not researching the maxx (released on the 26th). But now I'm stuck on .84 so meh...

I noticed the first ICS leak was just as bad as a battery hog as the .73 software was. Although ICS was great to use and very user friendly, I reverted back to .73 and will wait patiently for the official release whenever that will be.

OK... I have a bad question and I don't wanna put it in its own thread BC I know I'll get raped... it DOES have to do with the warranty replacement thing though... for a device that won't boot, the only thing that says "hey I modified my phone!" is if they were to boot into the bootloader and see the updated bl version...right?

So if we reverted the bootloader back to the previous version... wouldn't it be difficult to tell that we've modified? I mean they would get a fail when they tried to reflash the phone but would they be able to sufficiently isolate the cause of the fail to be able to tell you modified? The razr is made to essentially be disposable -- i feel like it's unlikely that they will go to extremes to try to figure out why a phone doesn't flash.

I know this is a bad thought to think... two things have stopped me historically from claiming warranty replacement... a knowledge that its wrong and is bad for Moto and Verizon, and the risk of being caught. Typically, both of those factors have been enough to keep me from doing the whole warranty gig. But my patience and understanding for the ongoing abuse of its customers by Moto and Vz have made my fuse significantly shorter.

Just a thought ...

Juice defender is great but efficient use of smart actions and simply toggling data off when I won't be using it works just as well for me. I've actually had good and horrible results with juice defender

Data wipe
Complx script from dt
Juice defender- sync once an hour instead of once per 15 mins
Extreme debloat after complx
Profit....

I was using better battery stats and noticed THOUSANDS of partial wake locks on. 84.. literally 3000 wakelocks in 20 hours.

My battery problems are (mostly) solved.

Is it as good as axiom? Nah, but it works great! The data wipe got rid of the rogues.

Will give it a try. Cwm flashing in general and messing with/system are things I've avoided since realizing ppl were bricking with rsd....

Really? At the end of the day yesterday i was at 56% batt left on the ICS leak after 15 hours of usage. That's with almost no batt-related mods, wifi/bluetooth/4g/nav enabled the entire time. (on a maxx) I don't have an exact number for screen-on-time, but i was definitely using it quite a bit throughout the day.

EDIT: By "leak" i mean the 85 leak

There has to be a reason you guys are pulling numbers like this. with that sort of up time I'd be pulling 10-12 hours out of my standard razr. If I go light usage it'll last about 2 days. I'd be curious to see your signal strength screen.
