I think that signal strength may have something to do with it...the new ICS radios on 84 suck bigtime. This is the biggest reason I want to get back to GB

That's weird-- my signal / speed has overall been faster and more reliable on 84. No idea why. But of course with 4G going gangbusters my battery life is horrendous.

I'm on the .84 leak and have been getting a lot better battery life than GB. I just got a network extender 2 days ago and my battery life is phenomenal. I'm getting 20 hours average with about 8 hours connected to network extender. Talk time is about 5 hours screen is 2 hours browser 1 hour and that usually leaves me at 40% battery. I can definitely say that network signal strength is a big factor on how long your battery lasts. If you have great coverage you will be seeing 18 hours or more of heavy use on 3g but if you have bad reception like i did in my home you will see 10 or 11 hours light usage.

I get to see both sides of the coin because of where I work (large steel structure). When I'm out doing my normal day to day usage of the phone my battery is great. Moderate to heavy use will yield about 12-14 hours of life on my standard razr. If I'm at work that'll crater to ~6 hours since the phone is constantly struggling to maintain signal. The ICS leak (84/85 in particular) have considerably better battery for me than GB ever did.

4G always enabled.

If I remember to screenshot it at work today I'll show you what I mean.

Depending on use I get from 10-20+ hours to a charge. That is with smart tasks shutting off mobile data though. I'm happy with that.

I'm on .84 and I can get my battery down to around 20% if I stream spotify for 8 hours with some web surfing during breaks. I normally unplug in the morning and plug in at night with about 35-40% remaining. That is with some fairly decent usage. I do have decent signal at work but it sucks at home. Btw, I very rarely use wifi, I am mostly on 4G.

Smart actions and juice defender. This is average with moderate use. I'm loving the leak.
