So i am trying to flash back to .173 so i can install the .75 ICS leak. I downloaded all the files and and RSD lite 5.6/Moto Drivers. I then go into Fastboot and RSD does reconize my phone, the problem is when i go to run the file it says failed on 2/23 (which is the first part of the flash). Any ideas

ive never used RSD. have you trieed using matt's utility? that always has worked for me. otherwise, make sure you have usb debbuging enabled and you are in AP fastboot mode. again, im not quite familiar with rsd.

It says you cannot use matt's utility if you are .181 or you will brick

I would also welcome any different but proven methods of getting back to stock .173 from .181. I have installed bootstrap, i only mention this cause i have seen that as a issue with som methods and also we are talking CDMA not GSM. The end goal here is i am on .181 stock and i wan to be on ICS

Hello all! I was on .181 (stock/rooted) and I read that DT's Gofaster v.2 mod for. 173 would roll .181 back to .173, so I tried it. I am now getting .181 ota notifications This being the case, (in theory) since it appears like my phone is on .173, shouldn't I be able to RSD to stock .173? Just a thought.... take care!

When I tried to flash back to .173 from .75 leak I had the same issue. I found that I forgot to change out the xml file. Once I did that everything was gravy!!!!

You will see: ****IF YOU ARE USING THE 173 FB FILES IN RSD LITE ,TAKE THE XML OUT AND INSERT THIS ONE . THIS WILL LET IT RUN WITHOUT ERROR.*******
