Sorry if this is in the wrong section but recently I've been having problems with Android File Transfer on my Mac when using a kexec rom. It seems for the time being kexec roms only work for file transfer through media connection with Android File Transfer. My problem I'm having is my keyboard and trackpad on my macbook pro will become unresponsive for a little while or even altogether when I connect to use Android File Transfer and a reboot is required to fix. Is there any kind of alternative or anything I could try? Thanks for any help!  :)

You can try another program for transferring. I use AirDroid, you can find it in the play store

I actually think I may have found out what was causing the problem, I had firewall turned on and it seems like after I turned that off it works most of the time. Thanks though!

I don't like the thought of no firewall. You should research what port you need to open and be cautious if another program will work with your firewall intact IMO it's superior.
