So i am late to the Car Dock party for my Razr. I love the dock, but I'm not super happy with the stock dock app. I have looked through the Play Market, but not really seeing anything that wows me. Any suggestions on the best replacement app for docking?

Well I want the integrated functionality of music/navigation/hands free text, I'm just not excited with the UI of the stock docking app.

I don't use the car dock app either. I exit out of it back to my home page. From there, I crank up Equalizer, Pandora, and Navigation. I don't see any need for a car dock app.

Ulysse Speedometer. It has shortcuts to the standard navigating apps and you can add shortcuts to whatever apps you want. Has a lot of neat features. Play with it a while and you might be surprised. There's a free version available if you want to check it out.

I used the app NoBloat to disable the cardock since I don't use it. In place of it I just created a Smart Actions to bring up music, maps or anything else when I plug it into the dock. That's always another option.

I use car home v3. It's highly customizable with swiping pages and widget support.
