Tim - great work here - better you than me!!!! Just read through the thread and a couple things I wanted to add my two cents to

 

-GPS - I haven't dropped a GPS signal in months unless I was on a build that I tweaked the heck out of. GPS is a non issue on the stock and Vanquish kernel. Any issues that arise are probably user induced.

 

- TiBu for the newbies to crack flashing DO NOT RESTORE SYSTEM APPS unless you know it is the same exact app (i.e. you read the new commits and know your app hasn't changed). And 60 apps to restore? Damn I have 5.......lol

Dam!!, 5!!! I have 102.  I need to put my phone on a diet. 

I am running build 6/28 which is running sweet. I'm almost afraid to flash a new build.

For some reason I can't quote you marxman3 but thanks for the kind words. I love doing this stuff and sharing the wealth with everyone else. I probably use about 5 of my 60 apps on a regular basis... Ha... Just got in the habit of restoring all of them everytime. :

Hey I get my new phone tomorrow and I'm downloading everything to get ready to unlock/root/flash etc, etc :-)))) I can't wait. What recovery are you guys using cwm or twrp? And what ver? Can't wait to use this ROM!! And every other one lol

Seems like the preferred recovery of choice for the M is TWRP. FYI, run the root exploit before you completely setup the phone. Do your initial setup, but root prior to loading apps, Google, etc. Sometimes, but not always, you have to do a FDR for the root to work. If you run the exploit right after initial activation, you shouldn't have to wipe anything or FDR.

Always a good thing. Lol. Things have exploded here lately for the M. I remember being bummed for a while when I got it, because I was worried development wouldn't pick up. Boy was I wrong! I think that the only thing I don't like about this phone now is the lack of HDMI , but that's not even a big deal. Thanks for helping us not get bored with our phones. Lol

Hey guys, I am writing this post to inform you guys that I will be stopping cm10.1 lunchlies as of today to attack a project I am more passionate about, and that is bringing AOKP to as many devices as I can on this site. Thanks for following this thread and me as a developer. I hope you will follow me to my new projects. For those that still want cm10.1 nightlies, here is the link to the skrillax builds.
